Baile Luna / Baile Sol

In collaboration with the Puerto Rican Art Museum in Baltimore, TOLAS Room, I created a series of promotional posters for a citywide festival celebrating Puerto Rican music, memory, and movement, and commemorating five years of Tola’s Room.

The visual concept draws inspiration from the design of a vinyl record, symbolizing the enduring legacy of sound and honoring the memory of the museum founder’s late father. Just like a vinyl, the event unfolds in two sides: Side A – Baile Luna and Side B – Baile Sol.

Each day offers a unique, immersive experience featuring traditional bomba music, dance, and fullbody movement rituals. The posters were designed not only to promote the event but to evoke a sense of rhythm, nostalgia, and cultural pride, visually bridging generational memory with contemporary celebration.
